Content management system or CMS is a system allowing web site owners to take control of the content of their web site. For example, you may have a section of your home page which shows your latest news. Something new needs to be added so you enter your content management system and add the latest news. This will then display on the homepage.

This is far quicker and easier than explaining the changes you require to a web design team and having to wait until they have a free period to update your site.

CMS tools are accessed through a password protected module only you or designated members of your company have access to. Amongst other things, the CMS tools allow you to add, change or remove text or alter the colour, weight, font-size, font-type etc which will add to the design concept of you page.
